DOWLING CONSULTING TAKES OUT GOLD AT PacRIM VENDOR OLYMPICS
Dowling Consulting has been named the winner of the inaugural Vendor Olympics, at the recent 2010 PacRIM IT Service Management Conference.
Now in its 19th year, PacRIM is one of the most dynamic and comprehensive platforms for networking, learning and business development in the IT Service Management industry.
Dowling took out first place ahead of finalists Service-Now, Cherwell and Touchpaper in front of an audience of over 100 IT service management specialists, in recognition of the company’s responsiveness and quick thinking.
Finalists were required to demonstrate the flexibility and configurability of their ITSM solution by creating a new workflow, on the fly, from scratch, then attach that workflow to a new request type, all in a limited timeframe.
Jonathan Jones, a Dowling Consultant used MARVAL V11.8 software to provide a solution that was “unmatched on user friendliness” according to the judges.
Jeff Scotland, Dowling Practice Manager said the organisation was extremely pleased by its success and to be recognised is great encouragement for Dowling to continue to grow and develop its service offering.
